Join the 238 Plate Club to provide hunger relief in North Tahoe/Truckee
Sierra Community House can supply a meal to a community member in need for roughly $2.38. Through the 238 Plate Club, you can make a monthly pledge to combat hunger and provide a heartfelt gift to a struggling family.
"Our objective is to ensure proper nutrition," explains Patrick Kratzer, the director of the Hunger Relief Program. "We strive to change perceptions about those seeking food assistance. Sierra Community House warmly welcomes anyone in need." Our food bags predominantly contain fresh produce and dairy, alongside occasional non-perishables like peanut butter or beans.
As food constitutes our most significant non-grant funded expense, your contribution aids us in offsetting rising costs amidst escalating food prices. By becoming a member of the 238 Plate Club, you contribute to a lasting impact throughout the year.
Thank you for your support!
