Sierra Community House was created through the merging of four social service organizations in 2019 and has become the primary crisis response and social service provider in North Lake Tahoe / Truckee.
As a lifeline for individuals and families in need, we offer a comprehensive range of essential services, including food assistance, rental and utility support, safety and advocacy for survivors of trauma, legal guidance, and vital mental health resources. Our family support and community engagement programs, including our work with schools, offer comprehensive assistance, educational resources, and prevention initiatives to empower families and individuals, fostering a resilient and connected community in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee.
